A hike to Fanes

As soon as you have reached by chairlift the sanctuary of Santa Croce, be ready to set off for a steep ascent, partially equipped with fixed metal ropes, towards Ju dla Crusc, an access point to the vast plateau of Fanes. From here you can deviate to the most symbolic peak of the area, Le Ciaval (2907 m), in order to fully enjoy the breath-taking view and decide whether to explore the enchanting plateau or to start hiking down across Forcela de Medesc.
